No wish crystals. They rolled back variant content. They lied about the act 6 nerf, never touching 6.1 or 6.2 except 3 fights. When they finally revisited two years later, they actually made some stuff harder.
The idea of champion choice has been mediocre at the 6-star level. AGs are scarce, but class nexuses are rare and/or expensive. Meanwhile the pool has become so bloated that regular nexuses offer far less value than they did two years (and 60ish champs) ago.
And before you say “aha! It’s 46 champs for 2 years,” remember that they add in pre-2018 champs via the feature gradually, 2-3 champs per crystal.

Know what would be great? A new roadmap that touches on the delays of the previous 2 roadmaps, as well as what’s to come. I’d love that personally, but it’s not happening.
Bummer too, I really wanted to see mastery 2.0 in my lifetime
I think threads like these are really legitimate and a shame, so far at least there is no reply. I think the video @RichTheMan did a few months ago on lack of progress and so many of the roadmap items really should have lead to a large update from Kabam. We get there will be slippage on things, but communicate with us. Are these things still on the agenda.
what we need is a roadmap that doesn't lie to us I'd rather it be blank than be written with things that will never come to this game on that said year
I am begging people to understand the difference between being wrong and lying. Kabam intended to do all of the things they put in the roadmaps, but failed to do many of them. They were wrong, they weren’t lying.
The actual thing worth mentioning is the lack of communication on those projects so that the community understands what led to Kabam getting the timeline/feasibility of a project wrong. I’d love to see a follow up post on the previous roadmaps where Kabam lays out what progress they made towards various goals and, if they abandoned them, why.
If Kabam came out and said “Wish crystals aren’t happening” or “We are trying to make wish crystals work, but are running into significant challenges,” or whatever else for whatever reason, I think the community would find that easier to swallow than the continued silence on that front.
Well kabam is reading this thread as they removed my last post, which was odd as wasn't bad at all (just a silly "coming soon" joke). They have the time to read and remove harmless posts that aren't violating anything but can't even acknowledge this thread.

Different mods have different responsibilities and authority. One mod may be able to remove a post, but not have the authority to publicly comment.

Seriously though, there’s so many things that have been either promised or proposed and very little has actually been delivered.
AW and AQ both had good QoL updates in the increased energy, reduced timers and undo buttons, alongside the assigned bgs which is helpful, especially for more casual alliances.
There have been a few little QoL updates along the way, a new UI which I’ll be honest, while aesthetically it’s ok, I’d have rathered the time was spent elsewhere.
Most importantly masteries are expensive and extremely clunky and because of this they hugely limit a player’s rank up choices based on whether they run suicides or not, or have the time/money to continually switch them. Kabam have spent so much effort making content that can’t just be ghosted or quaked so that you can use all 200 (minus the memes), yet leave a structure in place whereby you have to effectively choose between Mystics and Omega, Corvus or Torch etc. how mastery profiles aren’t a thing yet is beyond me, and why they’re not free to switch is a farce - I spent 10k units unlocking them, let me change them for free.
everyone just wants/needs mastery 2.0, they should scrap that relic **** and focus on masteries and the buff program which has been disapoint so far this year
Well I have absolutely no clue why they removed my original post, so I'll just say it again.
I think at this point Kabam should just use the "coming soon" message next to the roadmaps so they match the "coming soon" messages that was on bases for years and has been on the empty mastery slots for 7 years.

Gotta agree there. R4s just became a thing and hopefully 2 years before R5s, so we don’t need relics yet. Having interchangeable multiple mastery setups is something that is needed and useful for ALL in the game.
