First, the ability to choose our rewards rather than get saddled with extra cav crystals that almost always leave a bad taste in your mouth. The store has so many quality options to pull from and virtually every resource is available (outside of awakening gems) for reasonable prices.
Next, the solo event. The milestones aren’t difficult to hit fast and again, you’re given the option of rolling the dice with legendary/mythic/ultimate crystals or you can just take shards. It lets us have some great say in what we get while still getting solid rewards for endgame or for earlier players.
Third, the over abundance of ore. Between the login calendar, the monthly EQ, and the side quest itself, you get a ton of spendable currency. It makes the store less like “I need to carefully pick and choose what rewards I’ll get” and more like “I need to pick and choose what rewards I’ll get FIRST” which is a tremendous change.
Lastly, the side quest itself. While somewhat monotonous, it’s not long by any means and you can sit down for 20 minutes on hero use day and grind out 4 rounds of it with ease.
This month has been solid and I’m hoping it’s not just because of the July 4th stuff. Let’s keep this stuff going!

I like buying things from a store. I think it solves two problems: RNG is almost never fun, and it completely removes that; and you can target what you need, when you need it. Especially since it's summertime and people are going on vacations left and right, it's a good thing to be able to buy what you need when you do have access to the game.
Plus, a lot of gold. I don't know exactly how much it is since it's spread out so much, but it's a decent chunk. Probably around 2 million if you scoop it all up. I think that everyone can use it, but now that r4s are starting to become a thing it's such an insane gold drain. I'm happy to see more of it.
