Is this a joke? (Gold Offer)

A huge slap in the face to all f2p players. I remember seeing a post yesterday about the gold shortage and if this is Kabam's response to that then Idk what to say. Before you guys start saying "PlAy ArEnAs" I do but frankly these 6-star rank-ups and the gold required to level them up is far too much with how limited we are in the amount of gold that we can acquire per week.

Plus, arenas are not fun for most. I only do them occasionally in my free time for the units and the gold that comes with it, but I'd rather not treat this GAME like it's a job so I don't always play arenas. Gold needs to be better incorporated into other parts of the game that the majority of players enjoy. The event quests recently got buffed, which I love. I liked all the improvements, the only thing that I would've changed is a buff to the amount of gold that players normally get for clearing a path.

Also regarding gold shortage, you will be always shortage on something at any point of time, managing your resources is the way ahead, I never ran short of gold, I do arena (no one likes it, but it is what it is) and always had gold in abundance for every level up event

Instead of creating a solution for all players, they slapped a price tag on it and sent it out as an offer. Kind of annoying. It's a problem that affects all players, but they only attempted to resolve it for the people that are willing to invest in a mobile game.

How is this news to some people? Kabam is not developing a game from the kindness of their hearts. Its a business to make money. Creating a shortage and providing offers or a subscription is a common practice. Im surprised they only put that there for $10.

And yet you are complaining about not having enough gold to rank up your champions faster, instead of just slowing down your rank ups. Ranking up when you can is playing the game like a game. Ranking up because you think you need to rank up, and worrying about not having enough resources to do the rank ups you think you absolutely must do, is playing the game like a job.

Except Kabam didn't specifically create a gold shortage. They created a game where resources aren't infinite, and when players don't have unlimited resources eventually they all will run out of something. That's basically impossible to avoid. And some of them will be willing to spend money to get more of what they ran out of. That's human nature.

Kabam doesn't create shortages and sell into them. Kabam sells into impatience by making everything take time, and relies on humans being human.
