Are suicides good for harder content?

I admittedly am not very good at this game but I’m still trying to push for Thronebreaker. Would suicides help me get there? Or would they just make things harder with things like Recoil damage?

It really depends on what harder content it is. This week’s EoP? No. Act 7? Probably. It somewhat depends on your roster, but it is safest to invest in masteries like despair and willpower that have no downside

Act 6 is better without suicides, but act 7 is way easier if you have suicides

Thank you! I probably should have just asked that as Act 6 is the “harder content” I was referring to. Thanks! That was the answer I was looking for.

I’ve never found the need to unlock them. Currently halfway through act 7.

Depends on what champ you’re using. Ghost, Kitty, Herc, Knull, Diablo will benefit everywhere there isn’t a heal block node (Ghost can take those too). Disagree with them being bad in act 6, if you’re using the champs I mentioned then it should be much better than without. Only on some paths where you have to throw lots of specials with champs who cannot avoid recoil they are detrimental.

Depends on the path. If it’s a path that requires you to throw a lot of specials, probably not great. I am fully explored on story content and have never unlocked suicides.
