Question regarding MCOC account

I’ve had my account for many years now, but for as far as I can remember it logs in via Game Center. I would like to log in with a Kabam account so that I can log in on another device. The problem is I’m unsure if I already made a Kabam account linked to it in the past and I am really afraid to mess up and destroy all my progress by making a mistake. For example could the login details I use for this forum be the same for me mcoc account? Any help would be much appreciated.
