Disconnection and lost life

Playing in AQ today in the middle of a fight my connection appeared to be lost. Instead of searching for a connection like it used to I was immediately booted out and when I re connected I lost half my life. There is no way this is intentional and if it is please explaijn why. Pretty furious right now if you couldn't tell...

    I should add now that after I went back in I clicked fight, immediately booted for connection again before the fight loads. 3/4 life lost on game glitches. Internet operating fine. I had about 3 other boots between the second leg out of a fight but those were before I actually made it into clickiing fight. Running Samsung galaxy s8
