How are we supposed to throw our specials if warlock keeps power draining seems unfair

Why am I being power drained when his specials miss me

You shouldn't be but I also was so there's that ... some of the usual shenanigans the game throws. I believe his shock is the only thing that happens on activating the special .. not the power drain.

If you are infected, you will be power drained when your champion would regen or when being blocked by non contact basic attacks.
