I feel like AW ranking is a little bit weird

My Alliance started this season at about 700 on Gold3, and we won 9 times out of 10. Now the rank is about 400, which went up only 300. Is this correct? I feel like it was much more went up and down in terms of AW ranking before, like every time we finished the war, it used to change several hundreds in rank. The war is getting boring cause a lot of effort like this cannot change even one tier up.

Same here. When we lost our first fight, we dropped around 900 notches and we've been winning since. Winning the round brings us up far little than losing and our tiers won't go up either. How unmotivating.

There’s been a whoopsie with the war ratings. Normally you’d get ~ +/-40 or so for wins/losses but at the moment it’s closer to half so there’s less movement around the tiers.

I don't have the screen shots of every results but our alliance started the season from silver 1, ranking around 60th. (It's in Japanese but you can tell from the numbers) When we lost a battle, we dropped 900 notches . Since then, we've been winning. Winning a battle has brought us up by approx. 400, 200, 100, and in our last battle which we won, it only brought us up by 20. Could this be right?

Our alliance finished last season in the top 150 of Gold 2. This season, we went a perfect 12-0 in AW. We barely snuck into Gold 1.

There was a bug this season that after the first AW (which awarded +/- war rating correctly), the remaining wars added or removed a significantly smaller amount of war rating based on a win or a loss. At our level, a win or loss is usually worth ~60 rating. Our first war we were awarded +60. Every subsequent war after that, we only got +19.

During a normal season, we would have increased in tiers much more quickly. This season, we started in Tier 10, and only managed to work our way to to Tier 8. In previous seasons, 3 consecutive victories would have launched us from T10 to T7. There's absolutely no way we would have been able to achieve a 12-0 record had the war rating been calculating correctly.

It worked out well in our case. I'm sure it worked out not so well in the case of others. Kabam said they fixed it weeks ago, but the fix wouldn't go into effect until the season ended. Everything should be back to normal next season.
