Has kabam forgotten the Tech daily offer compensation

So its been almost two weeks since we bought the tech daily offer with the new nexus crystals that were released with the wrong drop rates, kabam said it would be resolved and correct crystals be sent out and still nothing has been done. Come on guys youve got my 16$ and im still waiting on my crystals

This does seem a little long even for this game. We are, after all, only talking about one or a couple of Cav nexus crystals—any of which would be marked as “purchased” items on the account that bought them. It isn’t some reward that was claimed in-game.

More importantly, how does this continue to happen?

Definitely have not forgotten, but collecting the Data is taking longer than usual (our Data team works on many different things, and sometimes they get tied up with other important tasks). We're likely looking at sometime early next week, though I'm hoping we can pull something magic out of hats and do it today.

I was going to write a passive aggressive message but, we’ve had a response. To be fair I think this is the second or 3rd update @Kabam Miike has given on various threads along the way, so thank you. I shall try to be patient like Obi Wan was whilst waiting for the door to open to battle Darth Maul after he killed Qui-Gon. I’ll probably still get a choice of 3x 3* champs anyway.

@Kabam Miike any update? We’re aware that there are important tasks to attend to but I assume correcting the violation of the terms of service would be high on the priority list. We should receive what we purchased or should receive a refund without any ramifications.

To be fair in this circumstance you got exactly what you paid for from the beginning. The drops odds were clearly posted and accurate. It was only after this that kabam buffed the drop rates and promised new crystals. I am also waiting for one of the buffed drop rate crystals, they will come soon but we were certainly never duped into some TOS violation.

This is incorrect, Kabam mike said here that the drop rate were incorrect. They were clearly posted yes, but not accurate. They didn’t promise to buff the drop rate, they promised to fix incorrect drop rate of 1.5% to the correct one of 3%.

It would be nice to have another update on this. We just finished our 3rd cycle of the tech crystal and we still don’t have the corrected one. The fact that it *almost* came out on Friday made me think we would have gotten it today, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I’m not saying we don’t deserve to receive new crystals with the increased drop rates, only that we received exactly what we payed when we bought the tech daily crystals and no TOS violation happened I also don’t believe kabam when they said they had the incorrect drop rates. I think we got what they meant to sell us but the players were so outraged that they had to backtrack a bit and raise the rates and say that was their intention all along.

Why do you mention the TOS in terms of if kabam broke it or not? I mean sure they could break their own tos but no one here is saying that. It’s terms of service, it’s their terms we agree upon to use their services not the other way around.

Having the incorrect drop rates for crystals even if they are shown is proven to be compensated. If only because it’s a cash sale and the OS we users used to make the purchase will refund our money because it’s considered bait and switch. So kabam will take the appropriate measures by giving the correct crystal to everyone that bought it so there is no negative units or Mis-use of refunds.
