There are occasional 5* rank ups here and there if they are needed for clearing content in the instance people don't have 6* version available. And also for testing new champs from new featured deals. As you can see they have no limit, so it's for quick rank ups. The more valuable items have some limits on them. At least that's how I see it. Who really knows what Kabam is thinking nowadays, lol

I’ve never understood this desire for everything added in the game to be for everyone (or in this case, specifically them) - and the inability to look past their own wants and needs.

If you don’t want to use the store, it’s a pretty simple answer. Some people might want to use 15 units to get that last alpha to rank a champion up. Someone might want to spend units on t5b to get their first R5 5*.

The more avenues to get materials in some cases, the better. I fail to see how this is a negative, at worst it’s just neutral.

How about T5b? You don’t need that?
Anyway it’s just additional option for rank up resources. You don’t need to buy if you have no need.

Didn't know paragon players didn't needed t5b and t2a for ranking up 6*, what do u use for ranking up 6* instead of using them

The thing is... once you hit a progression point... lower catalysts aren't available in offers. I can't recall the last time I saw t1a in a deal.

Most paragon offers have some T2a/T5b, but not much... and they have virtually no T4b / T4cc.
