Science is a weird class, I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying science is terrible, but just not as good as cosmic or mutant. All champs are not suicides friendly except ibom. Most champs are decent damage dealer but not the best. Some champs require a lot of skill to play. That’s my opinion, do you agree?

Torch, iHulk, iBom, Quake, Reed, Scorpion, Spiderham, Overseer, Cap IW, Void, Negative — plenty of GREAT science champs.

If you were saying that you would prefer a Quicksilver as Mutant, and thus has a playstyle revolving around the Mutant base of prowess + high damage specials, that has some merit. It is also fine to say you don't enjoy Science class base of debuff heavy abilities, that has some merit as well.

That is about preferences, which are entirely personal.

But in terms of your argument as stated, I disagree. Class does not dictate the maximum potential of a champion. Just look at Quake, a science champion, who was largely considered #1 or #2 of all champions for years.

It is like saying that you would prefer Captain America Infinity War to be a Skill champion, because the Skill Class is better than the Science Class. That also doesn't make sense.

Problem is, Quicksilver isn't a mutant canonically, so that wouldn't work lore-wise.

Secondly, this seems a generic science-complaint post? QS has great debuffs, lots of utility, and holy mamma that burst damage feels gooooood, man.

Also to clarify Kabam is not the one who dictated that Quicksilver was going to be a mutant, that came directly from Marvel themselves, so there was no debate to be had.

1. I think you said a lot of things there that are not directly related to how good QS is.
2. I don't really agree on most of them (Science is a great class, he shouldn't be mutant, other science champs are suicide friendly - such as Quake).
3. I appreciate you posting your opinion and not needing to state it as fact.
4. Even if Science were objectively a worse class, why does making him science make him a worse champion? I would argue that adding a top tier champion to a worse class would actually increase his value because he doesn't have as much competition in his class.

Suicide friendly science champs - Ihulk, Ibom, Joe, Overseer, Red Hulk, Negative, Invisible Woman and Quake. Ibom isn't the only champ. Not sure where you are pulling all your information from.

It was a dikk move from Marvel in the first place. They shouldn't have done it and it's bizarre that they got the rights back fairly soon. They'll need a good writer to retcon it again especially if they're going for a story that will heavily focus on Magneto. Tbf, Hickman's reimagining was satisfying.

Is the MCOC version based off the Evan Peters X-Men version, the Aaron Taylor-Johnson MCU version or none of them and straight from the comic books? (he looks a bit like Evan Peters tho, but that would make him mutant)

It's an original version for this universe (Earth-TRN517) but it's origin and looks is similar to Prime Quicksilver (Earth-61610) but with elements of Evan Peter's Quicksilver (Earth-10005) and a few nod to Aaron's Quicksilver (Earth-19999).
