Doom Interaction with Nullify Immune

Can someone explain how a nullify immune champ can be inflicted with shock when fighting Doom. On node 39 in AW, I used a Nimrod/OS versus Doom and they both keep getting shocked. The ability clearly states nullify and not expire similar to mojo

    Neither Nimrod or OS are immune to nullify.

    AFAIK, No champs is fully nullify immune without nodes.

    There are a handful of champs immune to nullify. Galan, Thing, Overseer, Negative, Civil Warrior to name a few

    Omega Sentinel is nullify immune. Nimrod is not though

    Hitting Doom while he has the aura active can nullify a buff on you
