Arena crystal issue

I saved up 62,000 battlechips used them on 31 arena crystals and only got 15 units that’s a load of bull when before the last update I was getting 70 units out of 10 crystals it takes long enough as it is to get battlechips to then not get nothing but gold

Sometimes opening a set of 10 won’t give you any Units, other times times you might get up to say 75 units.
You’re talking the lowest version of them, so 15 units (or less likely 45) is what you have a chance at pulling Units. 15% chance at pulling 15 Units (within that either 2x1 or 3x1 chance at the 3x higher amount, 45 instead of 15 units).
Game update has nothing to do with it.
If you have never ever had sets of opening give no Units before, you have been extremely lucky all those times. Or by never, has it only been a few sets that you have ever opened since starting to play in past before now ?
As for only 15 units out of 32 crystals, so that is “hitting” on just 1 of the 32 crystals. Bad luck, but still just bad luck (nothing more).
Many times I have opened sets of 10 and not gotten Units, and sometimes that even happens in back-2-back sets as well.
As for MATH, let’s take a case of missing out on Units for all of 31 crystals.
That would be 0.85 (85% chance each of NOT getting Units, which is the correct odds) to a factorial of 31
0.85 factorial 31. Which is 0.65 percent chance that might happen.
So chances are that out of 154 people who open 31 crystals at a time, someone will be that unlucky as to get no Units.
Just remember the fact that they are rng and move on
2. 70 units out of ten standard arena crystals is almost double the statistical average. There is simply no way you were averaging that many units over any significant period of time. More likely this is selection bias. You’re remembering your best openings, forgetting about your average ones, and are now noticing a particularly bad one.
