Corvus isn't marked as a #Villain?

I wanted to do the variabt where in the first quest on the path with Yondu, non villains attackers get affected by Black ISO but Villains don't i wanted to play it with Corvus but he isn't a #Villain.
Just wondering why isn't he marked with Villain

I think it was to do with Blade countering villain champions so well that they labelled him (and maw, cull, proxima) as children of thanos to stop blade being too OP

Just remember that regardless of anything that's said in this thread, Marvel approved. So whether you think it's because of blade or his intentions in the movie or anything else, this was signed off from Marvel and the agreed, he's not a villain.

All you need to do is to disregard everything about that, or just don't have any information on that at all. See every champion as a blank model, blank name. Abilities make the champion, not vice-versa

Hashtags are part of what make up the champions abilities and they don't always match the actual in-game description of the champ. See Aarkus. OP's question is about why a champ doesn't have a particular hashtag. The truth is the tags are accurate except when the game team decides that they don't want another champ to have a particular hash tag even if it is warranted, as in the case of Galan who is actually extra large. I'm not really fussed about it. It's fine to not give Corvus the #Villain tag or Galan the #XL tag. But to argue that they don't have the tag because, apart from the current needs of the game team, they aren't actually villains, XL, etc., is nonsense. Old GR was not incinerate immune. We had a movie released which brought a bunch of villains to the game at a time when the game team didn't want to add a bunch of #Villains. We found an alternative which was acceptable to all parties. But the state of the game at the time doesn't really answer the question of whether, in a vacuum, Corvus ought to be a #Villain.

At the time Blade was at the height of his powers. Of course they weren't going to never add more villains. Miike essentially acknowledged that Magneto is a factor in deciding not to give the #metal tag to every champ that might otherwise have it. I think it was fairly obvious with Corvus.
