Debuff immunity vs. neutralize

Just curious if we can expect for that interaction to change/be fixed in the future. It especially caught my eye with the Ant-Man buff, who as stated in his abilities “Cannot gain buffs”, yet while fighting Rintrah, for example he will still get energy from his awakened ability which is also indicated by “buff failed” when it happens.

In my opinion there should be a difference between debuff immunity and cannot gain buffs, though. Why call it differently if the interaction is supposed to be the same? Just my thoughts on this.

Semantics, but you keep saying “debuff immune” when I’m pretty sure you mean “buff immune”
