No special 3 skip in battle grounds?

What is the logic behind having no special 3 skip in battle grounds and anywhere else for that matter? It’s really annoying and screws you over anytime you’re using a champ that relies on sp3 or if you accidentally get pushed to sp3 or even if you push them to a sp3 (which is bad enough usually to begin with without wasting your time as well). It would be one thing if it didn’t count against your time but it does. It literally makes no sense. Every player can and should use the sp3 skip so there should be no reason not to have that available everywhere.

But the skip button comes at the same time for both players, so it nullifies that time factor since both players can use Sp3 & skip the animation

Skip sp3 doesn't work on timed fights.
And will not work in future fights with a timer.

Like others said.. time relevant fights such as AW and AQ u cant skip..
Also u assume everyone has the skip button activated.

Are we sure that the Skip Button appears after the same amount of time for every champion's SP3 in the game. Obviously adding it would have an impact on the Meta of the game mode but not having it also affects it so that shouldn't matter. They should really just find a way to pause the timer during SP3 and then enable you to skip. I'm generally in favour of anything that can make the game mode flow faster.

That is exactly my point. If you use doom, kitty, hyperion, namor, diablo, magneto, sym supreme or any other power gain or mystic champion that you want to use a sp3 or accidentally get pushed to a sp3 your immediately getting screwed and i don’t understand why. They’re making it a bad thing to use your special 3 vs any other special when it already takes more time to get there. It makes no sense to alienate the special 3 like that.

Everyone has access to skip button so if they donmt want to use it that is their loss. There are no negatives from using it and i honestly can’t imagine why someone would want to sit through special 3 animations every time. Having to sit there and watch it is bad enough without it hurting your score.

Why should special 3s be treated differently than 1 and 2s? They both have a duration to them, which is something to take into account when time is a factor.

The decision was made that allowing SP3 gave an unfair advantage to champions that are designed to leverage SP3, or have high power gain. No other special attack is skippable, so SP3 is not skippable in timed fights to prevent this. You could argue that it is fine if champs designed to use SP3 a lot should come with this advantage, but the devs disagree and there is no general consensus among the players that this decision is inappropriate.

You say there are no negatives to allowing SP3 skip, but granting these champions this advantage is seen as a negative. The fact that you don't agree doesn't make it any less of a negative the devs eliminated with this decision.

It is also worth noting that the SP3 skip didn't always exist. For a time it was a beta feature, and the competitive game metas evolved at a time when this feature did not exist, and most champion designs were formulated at a time before this feature existed. So allowing SP3 skip when this originally did not exist was an unintended shift in meta for a feature that was intended to be strictly a QoL change. QoL changes are not allowed to change things like the game economy or the competitive meta.
