For quite a while, I haven't been able to get the first hit on his heavy then SP2, because the opponent would wake up and hit me.
You could only heavy, then instantly SP2, but then the heavy cruelty (?) wouldn't trigger. You need the first hit.
Since the update, I can get the first hit in.

I misunderstood and thought there was an issue.
To be honest, to play things safe, I always parried the defender before Heavy-cancelling into SP2.
Am I right in assuming that you tend to punish Heavy attacks a lot, or bring along Spider-Gwen for the Miss?
There were several champs that were having problems with this before.
I gave up trying to get the first Heavy hit and just insta-cancelled the heavy to do the special.
It seems better now.
