Suggestion to make AQ less boring

Idk about yall, but AQ is the mode i hate the most, its a chore with no fun at all. Arenas are worse, but u can choose to just not do it, however without AQ and Glory its basically impossible to keep up.

Maybe what if it was LESS fights with higher dificulty? Like the whole map was only section 1 with 9-10 paths and only 3-5 fights each, just a lil harder, not EOP like, just somewhat fun, maybe like the side quest this month and a cool boss, or even 3 bosses kinda like Act 7, and definitely NO ENERGY, so we could just do it in one go without having to log in multiple times!

especially the no energy part is just not feasible. one of the most important aspects of aq is that you can't do it all in one run. now, don't get me wrong, it would be great if it wasn't as time consuming. but having no energy is just unrealistic

Just cancel aq, give everyone rewards based off prestige and call it a a day.

AQ is the worst game mode . Seriously boring and monotonous with no substantial rewards . Glory store for TB and Paragon is designed like a conqueror level player with t1cc , t2cc , t3b etc in it

I have honestly lost all hopes and confident in saying AQ will remain as it is and it won't change at all. This is one of those " it is , what it is " situation.

Honestly i dont know if its possible to make any less boring...
What i would like to see is to set the timer to be
Monday to Friday and let weekends forget about it .
Its a chore.. its boring.. feels like an ingame job.. might as well be M-F

The point of AQ and AW is to participate in the alliance activity, but doing son on one's own schedule. Most of us have work, school, and other responsibilities. The removal of links has helped a bit... but there is still more that should be done so that you don't have 9 people in an alliance waiting for one guy to get that last link down. It works this way in AW (except I guess for placing defenders), and it should work this way in AQ too.

A little more work to relocate the remaining links, and making the max # paths 9 would fix this.

Actually, Map 6 was significantly reduced to six paths in sections one and two and eight paths in section three. This was done because many of us argued that as Map 6 was no longer a top tier map, it should impose more moderate requirements on alliances. So at the last AQ map refactor, maps 5 and 6 were reduced in paths and path load. Higher maps were still designated as top tier maps that could reasonably place higher work loads on players.

Moreover fewer paths have links, so even in section three (Map 6) only six paths have links that must be cleared to open the boss. So while it takes eight to get 100%, it only takes six people to at least kill the boss and get the completion credit. That seems reasonable to me - reasonable enough that I moved one of my alliance groups to map 6 as a result. We'd never be able to do Map 6 back when it required ten people constantly to do it.

There was also a relatively quiet tweak to Map 6 that relocated links in section two so that players ran into them earlier, so if players ran out of energy in section 2 they were still more likely to have cleared the path links before running out and having to log right back in to get them.

I can't speak to Map 7 and 8 as I don't run them, but the situation in Map 6 is far more accessible than it used to be. Fewer paths, fewer linked paths, and links moved closer to the start of the section. It now is a much more moderate map (the path difficulties was something heavily debated when it was first updated, but that's a separate topic).

Just get rid of the empty movement spots. Keep the number of fights the same and just remove all the extra. This way I can move one time and be sitting at the first boss. Move another time and be sitting at the 2nd, same with 3rd. I shouldn't have to rely on someone else to help move me to the bosses if I have moved 6 energy.

I stay up most nights due to AQ to get to 2nd link to 2nd mini. It really is unnecessary and not good for QoL....and doesn't make the fights easier or harder or anything. Just I would get to go to bed at a reasonable time.

I wholeheartedly agree to this . 5 day is too much . If they start giving r4 mats , 6* shards and 6* related resources then 5 day is worth , else 3 days is better . AQ is currently the only game mode where you don't get 6* shards in any way ..not even from glory .

Although I also agree with the non-realistic part, I agree with removing energy part. I made a similar post for AW and energy.
I log in everyday couple of times for the last 6 years. But, one of the reason I quit competitive AQ and AW was when I need to log in is not dictated by me. Without energy, I can do my "chores" when I can/want to.

AQ is so mundane, long for no reason, and boring, I don't believe there's anything they're willing to do to improve it. I've suggested some things before that kabam has refused to incoporate. Ideas like: removing the item use limit, adding level 5 TEAM health potions, decreasing the time it takes to restore energy to 20 mins instead 45 mins, (why does it take 45 mins to restore OOOONNNNNEEEE energy point?!? Ridiculous!), removing using energy as soon as we enter the quest, or increasing the number of energy points restored in 45 mins (at least 3 points in 45mins) so we can get the hell on through AQ.

I did not before, and still don't understand their thinking. It's like they designed AQ, (the whole game really), for the no life having, jobless losers who are squatting in their parents basement. AQ should be fun, not stressful, or a time consuming waiting game.

Glad I'm no longer doing AQ and AW! I have a tremendously better quality of life now 😂😂😂😂

There was a certain time Kabam needed to shut off AQ for a week and doubled the rewards last year, I wish they make AQ like that all the time. 1 week on, 1 week off, double the rewards, starts on Monday and ends on Friday, no weekend chore.

AQ was fun. Long long time ago. Now it's just a chore that literally only a handful of people I know actually like to do. The only way to fix AQ is to buff the rewards. Completely for all aspects of AQ. Glory store is outdated. Glory cap I understand but it isn't realistic. I spend glory just so I can claim the next one. The 5 day aliance completion objective is a joke because running map 8 you get all the milestones on day 3. That's 2 days that literally don't count for it. Just needs a complete revamp on the rewards to be worth it. Kinda what they just did with AW

While it wont make it less boring, i think they should remove the linked nodes for mini bosses and just keep it for final boss.

The number of times we have had to wait for someone to clear lanes on the first boss because people are in different time zones. Needs an update

I like the suggestion to shorten from 5 days to 3 days, definitely would be less exhausting, and yea maybe the AQ as a whole need a full remodeling, its an outdated game mode that is hated by 90% of the community, 100% a chore and mid rewards
