Using boosts in bg leads to ban or not?

I know boosts are not tend to work in bgs but i have encountered many opponents that were using boosts( clearly showing in their pi & profile: No sucides) .
So it seems if have to move ahead & be on the par with such opponents that are using boosts , so should i also start using boosts as well against such opponents, but want to make sure if it leads to ban or not. If ban is happening due to this bug or whatever, i better not !
PS: I don't want to take any chances with my newly reached paragon title account .
