Kabam, please add trading champs!!!

This is a feature I've wanted for a really long time. My friend and I both play mcoc, and we have champs that have great synergies with each other. I think it would be mutually beneficial to both of us, and I think many others think so as well. So, please add trading champs. You can just have a lock in button on the trade, and if the other player doesn't lock in, the trade is automatically cancelled. This would bypass the scamming trades of the gifting event as well. Kabam, if you are listening, please think this through carefully, it would be much appreciated!

Sure, seems fun at first. However, trading champs would destroy the game. Just imagine if you traded your second best champ to a beginner alt account or to alliance members. Won't work out well.

Maybe they should add levels of trading, like uncollected only trade with uncollected, cavelier with cavalier, thronebreaker with thronebreaker, etc

How progressed is your account?
You have to realize most of forums are endgame+.
They know the game well.

Ever considered how some people can get amazing pulls on a smaller account and then pool it to the main one? Progression locking won't help, since every title outside of maybe paragon can be gotten quite easily
The crystal basis this game has had for nearly seven years would be undone.

Maybe a small suggestion to your idea is,not a permanent trade but just a 6hr trade and you can do only once in a month,and the champion you got will have the prestige/ pi your average of top 5 had,not usable in aw ,aq or battlegrounds

This would create a black market for trading. People would open a ton of featured crystals and than trade the champ to the highest paying player for an ironfist.
It might seem fun. But in the end. It would be very detrimental to the game.

This is one of those things that seems like an ok idea at first. I’m sure plenty of people would be happy to trade a character they don’t like for one they do. But people simply can’t be trusted. As others have stated, it would very quickly turn into a black market situation, trade scams, the creation of fake accounts, taking advatange of less experienced players, etc. it would not end well.

This would be exploited to become something that impacts the game on multiple fronts. I understand your intention which is the intention of anybody who would have access to this system: which is to strengthen their rosters by trading better Champs onto it.

But then it becomes a slippery slope that opens up a black market which gets abused and then people end up getting all of their best Champions taken away through manipulation and it'll cause a huge amount of distrust that could easily make a solid argument to walk away from the game.

We've had year-round gifting before, people abused it, it got taken away.

We had controversies during GGC trading events for the last couple of Christmases, people abused it, it's now going away.

What do you think is going to be any different this time?

There's a lot of things that can be done for the good of the community but we can never ignore the fact that the community has had too many instances of taking something that's supposed to be a goodwill gesture and abuse it. That means that you have to make some tough choices for the good of the community and especially the good of the game and objectively, this is neither.

The players still need to put in some work at least onto their alt accounts, allowing the players to still be fair, and get more accounts onto the game

They should just make a champ trading event once a year, like the gifting event

This just goes to show how weak the Kabam cybersecurity system is. Even Marvel Future Fight does a better job
