This October: Trick or Treat throughout the Spotted Dimension Rifts!

Event TL;DR

Complete daily objectives against mystery opponents to earn Spot’s spots. Then, use spots to be placed on a random path in the Spotted Dimension, win fights against buffed opponents and collect Candy, Candy Crystal Shards or other on-path goodies. Lastly, spend your Candy in the Candy Shop for those sweet, sweet rewards!

Spotted Dimension Rifts

Starts: October 5th, 2022

End: November 9th, 2022

Happy Halloween, Summoners! Spot has joined the battlerealm and immediately stolen Deadpool’s stash of candy. Help DP chase Spot down using Spot’s Spots to enter the Spotted Dimension where, hopefully, you can spot and stop Spot. Still with us? Good! Spot has enlisted the help of a whole gaggle of villains, so we’re going to need you to play hero!

Format

• Defeat mystery opponents to earn Spot’s spots from daily releasing Solo Objectives, a key to access the Spotted Dimension Rifts
• 4 difficulty levels 
• 7 paths with 3 fights and a boss fight, per path
• Randomized opponents on final boss node and on candy paths
• 1 energy per step
• Collect Candy and other goodies from paths
• 1-2% chance to land on a path with non-Candy goodies
• Beware: Paths with Awakening Gem/Awakening Gem Crystals will be champ gated; Summoners must have a champ with equal rarity to the gem/crystal on their squad
• If you cannot pass the rarity gate, you can choose any other reward path
• Path rewards are refreshed, and spots are consumed, with every entry

Bit huge gap between legendary rift rewards and shop goodies.
Someone might get 6* awa gem, while some other can only buy 650 6* shards?

6 star awakening gem crystals are a huge addition to rift rewards, though it sounds worse to know that it only has a 1% chance to show itself up

I know this has always been an unpopular opinion, but I love rifts. Are the odds against me ever getting one of the rare pulls? Yes. Does it make every single rift more exciting? Still yes.

This seems like a really interesting version of rifts where Summoner choice is still highly valued, but no one should ever complain when you recieve one of the un-choosable rewards.

You're gonna hear this a lot this month Kabam, but I'll say it anyways. Bring back the Deadpool gold offers, or some similar iteration. Also, the fact that we only have had the platpool crystals from the summer event and nothing else for like 8 (?) months is terrible. My 3 surprisingly jacked left arms of the fabulous one need a torso and some thighs.

I don't like the idea of constantly making RNG rewards on side quests associated with rifts

So I think it’s good they’ve added in a 6* awakening gem chance to the rift but the odds are really low and the store is so meh. Only 1x +5 6* sig stone. I guess that’s why it’s Cavalier+ Shop, not really much for anyone Thronebreaker let alone paragon to get excited about.

This feels like the star ore where everyone got too much star ore to spend and what they could buy was trash. Like can't they at least put revives in the store

I’m all for introduction of 7* crystals but it’s not giving a new set of toys for us to chase that will keep us playing. It’s the bread and butter monthly stuff. As a paragon player if I skipped the whole month would it make that month of a difference to my account? Not saying the rewards need to provide a step change in my account but this feels like a large grind for not much. If I was Cavelier still I would think it’s pretty great, but not been Cav for many years.

RNG on side quest with 6* AG seems just unfair..

We already have RNG in crystals for champs.. but RNG even for rare items like 6* AG really gives me a bad feeling..

We are reaching the end of 2022 and you can't get a guaranteed 6star opening after a side event. I remember a year ago side events would often give up to 25k shards. Does Kabam even want people to stick around for the events anymore?
