EOP Mags vs Dragonman

So I changed mastery n maxed out pacify to prevent the degen from Dragonman.
70% from Mags base kit +30% from pacify... So in terms of maths it will depend on how Kabam add the +30% from pacify, but the lowest aar from the setum Mags+max pacify is 91% ability accuracy reduction.
So basically one in ten parry could start the armorbreak degen.
My best run I think I have parried 6 - 8 times before armorbreak n degen.
Am I out of luck on rng, or hit by a bug?

Probably bad luck of rng. I did 5-7 tries before i soloed the fight. And in none of those tries did i trigger an armor break debuff. In addition, swedeah did a vid where he did some 80 parries to showcase this.

Yeah... Seen that one. but seing that n being sa far off in rng is a "bit" annoying.
Think I gonna try n uninstall the game n reinstall n compare later.

I think you can still use Red Mag but skip parry instead. Just block DM's last hit of SP1 and launch heavy.

I was able to solo with R3 dupped Torch after a few attempts

Then i used 5* R5 Doom and almost got a solo too, left him with 9% left

I didnt have this much success using mags

That’s a lot of really, really great pRNG. I suppose I need to get better at parrying to avoid armor breaks.

I just tried this fight a dozen times and parrying consistently armor broke him every single fight. This would typically happen on my 3rd or 4th parry of the fight.

Something is not operating as expected in this fight.

I got it done with Mags but just played it basically stun immune after 20+ attempts getting armor breaks within the first 1-3 parries. I will say this is far and away the least fun fight I've ever experienced playing mcoc. Just took the most hated nodes and slapped them on a power gain monster with dog **** AI and let the "fun" begin.

I just soloed the fight on the first try with Red Mags in 21 hits. Couldn't believe it. I basically baited out the special 1 with a heavy counter to build up to 5 or 6 prowess and a combo or two to get to 3 bars. Then I just held heavy in the corner. If he hit me, unstoppable would knock him back, bait out a special if needed and held block. Got to 40 prowess, fired and sp3 and he was dead.

ran eop dragonman over 30 times going for the 1 shot, not a single armor break while magnetized was on, while parrying. rng must be broken

yep RNG is broken for sure, just changed my mastery set-up to reach that 91%. I tried 10 times already and I usually get the degen after the 2nd or 3rd parry. Kabam please give me back my units lol.

My magneto is getting armour breaks every 2-3 parries with maxed pacify, I did it the slow way and baited l1 then heavied till 10, yeah then retreat to corner and charge a couple big charges and hit him with heavy then l3, my 5/65 I had to do this twice so took about 5 revives to get another setup l3

Based on previous discussions about how the game handles its percentages, I wouldn't be surprised if it worked something like this:

100% base chance to armor break on parry.
100% - 70% chance due to Red Mags' Magnetism = 30%.
30% - 30% from pacify mastery = 21% chance in total to armor break on parry.

So you'd still get a degen on you roughly every 5th parry. Of course, this can mean that you get the degen after three parries and it can mean that you get it after eight. But I think you should have about a 21% chance to get it every time you parry him.

I took him down with mags +200% mutant boost
Some great inputs n somewhat satisfying seeing I am not the only one with bad rng.

I again tried Magneto in Week 5 against DM - still facing those armor break degens on parry.
Additionally, it seemed the Unstoppable was happening more often compared to when I faced DM in Week 4.
