Cyber Wknd transparency and preparation (relics, ascension, 7*)

As people grind arena and budget for Cyber Weekend, with all the new things coming in game, it’d be great if people knew ahead of time if something WILL or maybe more importantly WILL NOT be included in unit and money deals.

Will 7* crystals be available? 7* shards? Relics? What about the whatever it will take for champion “Ascension”... will that be ready and available?

    Can’t see it. Relics ok. But they announced no actual playable 7s until the spring. Not that it’s impossible. I just don’t see what purpose it would serve, nor what good it would do for the player, to buy 7 crystals they can’t open for about 5 months.

    Kabam already announced you’ll get 7* shards in Nov when you dupe your 6*s which has caused a lot of people to IMMEDIATELY stop opening 6* crystals so they can stock up on 7* shards. If they’ll hold on to/build up shards, they’d have no problem doing the same with crystals.

    They never announce this stuff in advance. It might get leaked close to the date.

    We got t6cc fragments in act 8 and have no way of forming the 3 needed for r5 so giving us some 7 star shards could be an option...

    Shards are more amorphous on their own. You can collect them for basic or dual or featured. Shard acquisition is also not a straight line. FTP for example get a large percentage duping. If slow to accumulate at minimum 40 dupes of a 6 star to get enough shards for a 7 star could take several weeks to months. There’s no real rush or incentive cyber weekend.

    A pure crystal. That’s it. You can’t upgrade it. You can’t stack on it. It’s one thing to watch your shards grow and plan. Then sitting on say 5 ready to go crystals that aren’t actually ready to go until April.

    There’s also the matter of pricing. 6 stars are set for now. A dupe is a dupe no matter what.

    But what if 7 star crystals are like 500 units? Or more?

    I mean I get it. Some people will be impatient. But to repeat. What’s the actual benefit? What purpose will it actually serve?

    Most people prefer shards over a crystal (unless it’s a nexus) but that’s never stopped kabam from giving crystals instead of shards. Either way, the shards will be just as useless as the crystals until they say so, so people can stare at crystals they can’t open the same way they can stare at shards they can’t use. Same same (imo)

    7* crystals- no.
    7* shards- very doubtful.
    Relics- doubtful.
    Ascensions- absolutely not.
