How playing BG's punishes lower players

firstly, Yes i understand its every 48 hours. But for someone who has pushed to diamond with a very weak roster, i can only win about 10% of my games as i get crushed by paragons. i think it would be a much better idea to do "complete (in entirety) 5 games and get your 680 tokens". Or even" complete 10 games". Anyone else have the issue im having? Or even if this doesnt work please implement a unranked version where it forces me to fight against people with equal rosters. Right now you are punished for playing too much.

i dont feel i should have to play 50 games to get this milestone. Not only that but the drain on my energy is insane

It was that way with an extra objective during Beta...
People would just join and leave without fighting...

I agree, I would just add win matches in BG, regardless of mode, so that atleast you can win friendly and earn those milestones.

Then you could match your Alt and just win for no energy, cost or stress. Not much of an objective there if I’m honest

for 650 tokens, why not, lol. it helps weak roster to earn something(even if its peanuts) when they have reached threshold of that they can reach in VT or GC.

The friendly match system only exists *because* it can't be exploited for free rewards.

lol, when did I say exploit, I suggested kabam should add that as a thing in milestone. win matches in BG(any mode), Many different solo events /ally events has this.

They can set it up like elders marks, you have to play the whole match to get the objective. If you forfeit you won't get it just like elder marks points. Also I doubt people will forfeit as much now that there are tracks and relics coming in the gladiators circuit.

U r assuming ppl are spending on elders marks and are in the gladiators circuit...
I understand what your intention is.. but as uncollected u can play bgs.. got any idea how much u can benefit as a lower progression player just farming those objectives?

Most people I think understand what I mean when I say this allows players to exploit the friendly match system. If you allow rewards to be earnable in the friendly match system, you allow players to take advantage of the fact that they can engineer matches at will, and dictate who wins with certainty, allowing rewards to be gained without effort or chance. Taking advantage of the properties of the game in a manner that allows for rewards to be gained in an unintentional manner is the definition of a game exploit. It would be a game exploit whether the devs decided to punish anyone for it or not, and it would be a game exploit even if the devs were dumb enough to allow for it.

During the initial closed beta for Battlegrounds I actually made the case that some rewards might be possible in friendly mode, provided that they were relatively minor, because of course anything else would be exploitable. This wasn't a controversial position. Everyone understood what that meant.

Those are two separate things I didn't say anything about people spending elders marks to meet daily objectives. I said you could set up objectives so you don't earn them by forfeiting, the same way they have set up earning elder marks rank rewards points.

As to your point about uncollected player potentially farming objectives I would bet money there's more people who want to play Bg but have stopped because they get no rewards for losing vs uncollected players potentially farming objectives.

But really only kabam knows how many players are actively playing BG, I just want people to actually play this mode and it really seems like the numbers are a lot lower than they should be.

I get where you are coming from.

If you get stuck in a rough spot, you end up spending enormous amounts of energy for little reward.

There should be some sort of reward for playing matches; smaller points reward to your solo milestone etc. Feels very disheartening when you get stuck in a tough spot and get nothing in return for it.

Thanm you. I feel as though you were the only one relevant to my original post haha. How does win 1 game or win 2/3 games sound then? Or even play 5 games of battleground lasting 3 rounds. That way if i win even one round (which is alot easier than winning 2 for me) i can still get the objective but i still have to finish 5 games
