Cosmic Tech Duel Crystal - Accidentally Clicked Get Now - Will I lose It?

I have bunch of 4 star shards. I accidentally clicked on Cosmic Tech Duel…Get Now…

The time is expiring in 30 minutes. If I let it expire, do I lose those 2,000 shards and crystal? I want Science or Skill or Mutant. I shouldn’t have clicked “get now”. Does anybody know what happens if time expires???
