Dormammu - Dimensional Link Bug?

I've had my 4* 5/50 sig 40 Dormammu for a couple months now. I generally use him in Arena fights and on AW defense team only.

I've noticed in Arena that all fights versus a Kang or Thanos team Dormammu begin with their Dimensional Link buffs active regardless of whether or not it is awakened. To the best of my recollection, I have never had my Dormammu start a fight with the Dimensional Link active. I can't seem to find any reason for this in his abilities description.

With the number of 4* and 5* Dormammu's now appearing in Arena fights this is a fairly easy issue to replicate.

Any other Dormammu owners experience the same issue?

Any thoughts from the Kabam team on this?

    I have had the same question. I want to figure out how I can start out with that permanent dimensional link with my 4* Dormammu.
