Sad but true. Someone like me choosing not to spend due to this sort of nonsense isn't a game changer for them. Whats a couple hundred bucks over the year from one customer disappearing when there's idiots who will spend it in a weekend on any and every "offer" that gets released. Sad state of affairs indeed, maybe enough people will stop spending altogether like I have and kabam will get the hint. Some pro player moves for good will sake go a long way with the average consumer.
When they said gold offers were gone.. I assumed they would be an objective.. a quest.. something to kinda make up for it.. or as they said.. something better... But WOW...
Lets summarize.. Summoner Appreciation: Gone, replaced by summer event and monetized with resort.. Gifting: Gone AG trade up: most likely Gone..
Rng based side quest rewards and now this… Kabam are pulling out all the stops this month.. They should really check the person/persons that are coming up with these “ideas” aren’t planning on leaving/quitting the company soon (burn it all down on the way out mentality)

So while it is always interesting to try something "new". From the feedback of the community, we can see that this "new" Deadpool day not really working.
However these are still time for a nice quick "hot fix" with some gold offers before the end of Monday, let call it as "always planned trick or treat fun joke".
Remember a happy customer will be a spending one, an unhappy customer...well they might not be a customer soon, as they will decide to put their money in other "new" games/activities.
Why did the mods change the name of this thread after naming it "Merged: Complaints about Day of the Deadpool offers"... they can't even let us be mad fairly?
In this case, I will defend Kabam because this just isn't true. Many of the "merged threads" were added to my existing thread that I started when the initial announcement came out, and that many people were already commenting on. Not shady, but actually a nice move to declutter forums when something has this big of a reaction.
I wasn't asking why they merged the threads.. they always do that on big issues... I was asking why they first named the merged thread "Merged: Complaints about Day of the Deadpool offers"... then changed it for what appears to be PR purposes.. that's my conjecture on why, but they 100% changed the name of the thread post merger

What were Paragon unit store offers? I would have needed 1 T6b and 1 t3a in the same package to spark my interest....or the actual gold offers. This does nothing for my account, so I see this one thing as good for me. No wasteful spending.

Makes it VERY easy to continue hoarding gold AND units. Paragon deal wanting almost 6k units for a 6* AG, 2-3 gem, and a 6* nexus? No thanks… I have 2 6* generic AGs sitting already. They most likely merged it into someone's Thread who labeled it that, and edited the Title.

Just very disappointed with Kabam. Last year was one of the most exciting moments for account progression at player friendly value and this year I don’t think there is anything in the event for me to care about whatsoever. What is the point of an event if it only diminishes player engagement?
In hindsight last year was likely purely driven as PR for all the frustration with bugs. I thought this year they could benefit from same PR, but they must feel that fixing what they broke in the first place with BG and some other recent quality of life adjustments were adequate. Likely they stay quiet now until solo incursion details announcement and hope that fixes this mistake. Sad that it can’t remain positive for more than a week or two without poor decisions interfering with the game.
Soooo this game is becoming a contest of who has a bigger wallet? I mean, how else do you explain the absolute atrocity that is this "event". They say to not expect much and I expected even lower and I was right in the end.
I d rather spend my money getting some Deadpool comics this year. At least there, there s entertainment value and some good laughs from actual professional writers, not "kabam thrillion".
You guys really can’t read. Day of the Deadpool is a 7 day event with more to come. Today is just day one, and you’re already all up in Kabam’s face. Give it a break. There still may be some special events coming later this week.
