I know there is a visual bug regarding the description of this tactic, but is it working as intended in AW ??
And if yes, is it 100% consistent or are there certain inconsistencies with it's effectiveness ??

Same question, our ally have to switch to other defense tactic middle way because we have no idea whether it is working or not. There are people report not working in bug section in off season, Kabam acknowledged that it would be looking into but no follow ups
