Join the club as many feel this way. Knowing there is a 6 star awakening crystal that I won't ever get is really discouraging. I'm going to try it atleast for the sig stone objective, then I'm done with it. Why bother wasting my efforts for resources I can buy from the Glory store.

Look as much as Kabam as angered me with the no gold offers and the weak candy store, its still only the 3rd day. I pulled a T5CC today, when I was expecting candy trash all month so I am holding out hope on that awakening gem

It’s absolute garbage, the likeness of us getting anything but candy is ridiculous, just a waste of time, least make the odds a little better, then again this does not surprise me at all, it will be the whales that end up getting the awakening gem.

I'm gonna have to hard disagree with this take.....

For a side quest these are by far the best rewards we've had in a long time.....keep in mind it's day 3....27 to go.....if you hit the 6 star AG or t5cc ONCE in 30 tries I'd say that alone beats previous monthly events .....and the WORST prize is 8k candy shards aka 4 cav crystals (again....that's the worst). Everyone will get enough of the candy to buy all the gold which is a couple million gold.

I've seen a ton of people hating on this event and I'm mind blown.......3 days in and I've opened 8 cav crystals and got 2 basic t5 catalysts. I usually average opening 8-10 Cavs off the monthly events throughout the month.

And here I can't wait to collect all candy and spend it on items. As candy store is decent.
I have zero hopes of getting the rare items in RNGrifts , but I'll have my 500 2* sigs. Yay

Day one I landed on 10k 6star shards.
Days two and three I picked up candy which I haven't spent yet but aim to pick up ALL Cav crystals.

The rewards are actually really good and I think some people are being just a little pessimistic when we're only 3 days into a 35 day event.

Seriously. Look back at it on the last day and take stock then. The rewards this month are great.

I was pretty bummed since I’ve gotten 4 days in a row (🤦‍♂️) of candy, but on the bright side i will get tons of iso from all of the cav crystals I pick up lol

If you don’t think that Kabam doesn’t know which accounts spend money, then you’re deluding yourself.

They could easily write code that tipped the scales in favor of those accounts that buy the most in-game stuff. Not accusing them of doing so, just pointing out that they theoretically could.

The implication that they CAN do it is the same as spreading conspiracy, passive-aggressively. They're not giving better pulls to spenders. @Worknprogress can attest to that.

The +5 generic 6* sig stones is nice but wish it was 5x instead of only 1x.. the tier5 basic catalyst limit if 1x is also sad.. at least it will give summoners who pull 20k candy something to look forward to.. as of now haven't been lucky with cav candy crystals.. bunch of 3*s and one 4* Cable.. I gamble on mythic crystal over 3k 6* shards (got 5*)

Pry the gambler in me, though I don’t spend, the events that offer crystals with shards gained, I generally enjoy. Would I prefer a 6 star awakening gem, clearly yes. The first day, I got the 10k 6 star shards and pulled Scorpion from it. I got something good from day one, and expect candy, here on out and will open crystals (mostly) anything else is icing on the cake

I’m happy for you, that you got the 10K shards and a great champ.

The problem is that for many players, they will endure a month of trips to Candy Land, which will lead to a bunch of Cavs, which will lead to a bunch of 3 and 4* dupes, and they will get the feel bads because they put in EXACTLY the same effort that you did but will likely not get a 6* champ all month from this exercise.

If everyone got 10K 6* shards, even though many would wind up with Beast or SIM while others would get Kitty or Herc, at least the CHANCE at the same outcome for the same effort would be there. I can make use of a garbage 6* champ in Arena, but a pile of 3* mean nothing to me and my roster.

Again, congrats on an awesome pull. Glad some people are enjoying this SQ and getting good stuff from it.

Understood. It’s a bit of to each their own. The rest of my runs have been candy, and again, I was pretty lucky in that I dupped two 6 stars. I also understand that other people will get junk rewards. And while a key to select a path would be nice, the rewards would likely have been lessoned. It’s all a matter of personal opinion, and I respect those who feel this event is garbage. I tend to not worry much about it, I’ve played this game since well before 12.0, and my then scarlet witch was the top of the mountain. Now I only play if something catches my interest and I realize for many, they invest much more time and effort at this time. I am just offering my perspective.
