Nick Fury in 2022

So, I got extremely lucky today… Landed on the 6* AG in rifts, and then actually pulled a skill gem which will awaken my Nick Fury, I guess…

Is he still that dominant in 2022? What’s the best YouTube guide to learn how to use him properly?

Luckily you don't need a degree in understanding MCoC champion kits for Nick.
If you want just enter his second life, and get your desired amount of tactical charges (either getting hit or using your special one) then just spam light ending combos and occasionally keep the internal bleed running.

6* Sig stones are still quite the valuable resource so I'd say just leave him at Sig 1.
All it does is slow down by how much he degenerates when he enters his second life.

Used a gem from Act 7 completion and took to R3, then took him to R4 with 8.1 exploration over unduped kingpin - could have gone either way, but not disappointed.

He still puts in a ton of work and can be a great AW defender. He solo'd the CAV Spot boss without breaking a sweat and I bring him + DPX a lot with champs like CAPIW, Herc, etc, who can really slap with suicides, but don't handle the bleeds too well.

I think he holds his own just fine and will keep doing so for quite awhile The extra boom from the 2nd life, unblockable, purify debuffs and counter evade are still solid too.

Sig 1 or sig 200. At sig 200 my r4 can get 15+ tactical charges in 2nd life long before the health drops to 30% in war. Yes I’ll get hit on purpose to benefit his abilities.

Nick is most definitely still a beast and even a clear candidate for a generic gem imo.

Reasons why *I* think he is most certainly worthy of awakening:

He gets a massive benefit from it. Nick in phase 1 can do a lot, but he suffers from the constant reduction in his tactical charge number. Phase 2 Nick has permanent charges, allowing for guaranteed and not-time-dependant utility and unblockability (the best part).
His LMD gets a permanent Fury's fury buff, which skyrockets his damage. He also gets the ability to tank a ridiculous amount of damage between the initial reduction to 0% health and when his health bar grows back up to 100% (I have tanked crazy amounts of damage in this time, and I'm not sure there really is a limit). He is also stun immune, removes not debuffs but "all effects" upon initial LMD activation, and the LMD is even AAR immune.
Did I mentionn he can have massive damage and be permanently unblockable? Just get hit a little or throw 2 sp1s.
Make sure to spam MLLLL combos as ending in a L attack gives a massive bleed.
He has a number of amazing synergies, including the one with just himself for a 10% attack boost to #hero champs, but by far my most used and favorite synergy in-game for the past ~3-4 years has been the Nick and Quake/Antman synergy that gives every champ 3 evade charges. Those have probably been the most impactful thing in content clearing, plus Nick and Quake can cover a huge percentage of content themselves (not to mention being great insurance policies against tough bosses or the occasional champ that your team appears to not be able to handle).
Nice and Aegon are still by far the most important champs in the Skill class to have awakened. Aegon arguably is better at a lower rank or even 5/65 for combo stacking and really benefits from sig 200, while Nick needs only initial awakening to access 98% of his ability's utility.

I have been praying for 4* or 5* Nick Fury. I have maxed out 3* and use him constantly. He helped rip through Act 4. Struggling in Act 5. I also been praying for same with Quake. She’s maxed out as 3*. I love Nick and Quake together on team. Please, let me get both as 4* and / or 5*.

6* nick fury was the second champ I spent actual money on to awaken.

First being 4* SW back in the day (pre 12.0)

Absolutely worth the gem. I normally do medium/heavy to stack some of the passive bleed thingies (protip, it's not great against gladiator hulk haha) then just light ending combo's, it annoys the boy because he says I have to kill him off deliberately but I tend to use second life to cover bad play/SP3 tank if required and most times the AI melts away just as easily without it.

Put points in deep wounds too.

Agree he is an absolute beast, the EQ skill quest this month is a joke with him, i cleaned every path with him and bwdo for bleed immune champs, the damage ramp up is so quick even in his first life. he will be my second R4 skill, already have falcon at sig200, is a beast also who shuts down so much annoying things.
