2, 3, or 4 stars

Please put out some content that would make our “useless” champions useful much like back issues 4. Let’s face it we all get 4,3,and even 2 stars in all crystals and we all shrug at it. It’s unfortunate yes, but hey that’s the game we play. We have to roll with the punches and grind. However, back issues 4 was amazing for summoners to make use of the 4,3,and 2 stars in our roster( that mostly gather dust). It was fun, it made us lower tier summoners feel like we had a chance to complete harder content even though we are still using revives and units. It felt like we had a chance if we didn’t have a 6 star duped Hercules, we could use a 4 or 3 star. I know using 4,3,and even 2 stars my not be adding up you bottom line (and yes I get it kabam is a business, you have to make money for the content you put out) but I feel the possible rewards would motivate lower tier summoners to gain traction and push forward toward the dreaded 7 stars. This is obviously just my opinion but I want to see this game continue since I have played it for more than 5 years ( that’s is longer than my son has been alive).

But the more important issue is that content development is zero-sum. There's only so much developer resources. So if you want this sort of content, what would you be willing to give up to get it? Would you be willing to give up (or at least delay) Variant 10? The next EoP? The next boss rush? The next update to EQ?
We players never see what we lose when we gain something else. We're never told (and will never be told) that to get this thing we asked for, we lost this other thing. But the devs have to make that choice every time they decide where their development time goes. And my guess is 2* locked content is something that would be appealing to a much lower percentage of players than other stuff.
That doesn't mean it should never get made. It does mean it will likely get made very infrequently.
