Doom Replacement for Abyss

I only have a 5r5 Doom and I used him for paths 1 and 2 of abyss. I did not enjoy using him as he barely helped. Would replacing him with my 6r4 Claire be better? Or is there another mystic I can try for paths 3, 4 and 5

    Not Claire. Don't. Used doom for korg and stuff. He was awesome. And bishop and champion and Hyperion. All 1-3 revives done
