Although individual anecdotes aren’t really useful here, to me that seems well within the range of outcomes (albeit a bit of a mean joke, since I’m sitting on mounds of gold and could use that “luck” elsewhere in game).

He was correcting grounded wisdoms comment to be more readable. He said 1-2% it isn't candy which is not the same as saying 1-2% per non-candy path.

If your reading this as 98% chance of Candy and 2% of anything else then it’s being misread.

It’s pretty clear they are saying every path that is not Candy has a 1-2% of landing on it, for a total of 90% Candy Path and 10% cumulative odds of a non candy path.

This is 100% wrong.

There is a 90% chance you land on Candy. Which means there is a 10% chance you land on a non-Candy path. That is why the odds of all non-Candy prizes cumulatively add to 10%.

Perhaps you see it that way, but I see differently. It's not 90% with a 10% chance, and subsets of 1-2% within that. It's a majority candy, with a 1-2% of it being each remaining Path.

It’s a 2% chance to get nothing but candy the whole time. So it’s fairly unlikely

I'm fairly certain I will be among the 2% lol
