Battlegrounds' sound effects?

Ok, I might be dumb and there might be a setting I haven't ticked off or whatever, but how do you turn off Battlegrounds' sound effects?

I only have this minor "problem" when playing with headphones on and listen to music/podcasts. Music and Sound fx in settings are always turned off, but the win/lose and victory track sound effects in BGs is on as long as I have my headphones. It's pretty annoying, especially when listening to podcasts - I just don't expect it also scared me a couple times already

I also have notification sounds in phone settings disabled at all times, so I'm completely lost about what's going on here... any ideas?

The game has sounds? Turn them off in the settings on the main/opening menu. Gears on the top left.

Not dumb! There's a known issue where, for some players, some portions of BGs audio plays despite the settings having them switched off.

Did you read my post? I stated that music and sounds are turned off in the settings.

Can I retain my sounds on but remove the 'DOOONG! You lose! Weakling!' sound effect? Lol.
