VFX compo??

Are we getting the VFX compo or is it not hapning did I miss a forum post? Or has there been nothing further said yet n still waiting I 100% 8.1 now and it was way more easy with the traps any info would be appreciated sorry if this has been addressed already if it has I missed it.

So it's a case of pretend it never happened then close the thread n hope it's forgotten. Out of order it wasn't just a little thing lots of people lost a great deal of units pots revives,ect,ect poor show kabam!! 🤬

It was only a major error on a major roll-out. Why would the team determine action should be taken for something as minuscule as that?

When content launches bugged, it’s a completely different animal than if the game is bugged on its own.

For many players (including me) clearing 8.1 in September was required to become paragon before a new monthly calendar.

Players who jumped in to battle Scytalis did so with limited information about how it was supposed to work versus how it was actually working.

Given that this is story mode, for many players it was the only not-yet-explored in game. If something gets messed up with 6.2.6 Champion in 2022, for example, a Cavalier player can go do variant or try exploring EQ. For paragon and near-Paragon players, there’s a huge incentive to dive in and a cost to waiting.

Very disappointed.

I didn’t know the Scytalis fight was bugged when I thought her the first time. After I found out she was bugged I chose to wait until it was fixed before doing any other runs. I used I think 10 revives the first run and all other fives when the bug was fixed use none or up to 3.

The bug definitely affected game play. I don’t think we should get the world but I think there should be something. Even if it’s a choose you own compensation between a few revives, or couple of incursion artefacts, 20k loyalty.

I think responses that say we don’t have any info to share and close down threads are really poor. Is information still being gathered? Is there a deadline when a decision is going to be made? When will that decision be communicated. This was pretty big deal. Otherwise it comes across that in reality a decision has been made to not provide and compensation and you just don’t want to say it.

I think that the issue was real but it really didn't effect a big part of my gameplay, most of the time when there's a glitch, people immediately think...comp...but as a 7 year player and someone in mobile tech dev, its not something a company can do for every issue, and believe me, back tracking millions of players to find the ones that were most effected isn't as easy as 1-2-3 and it would need to be users wide across the board.

Should there be a comp? possibly but it wouldn't be anything more that energy, potions and boosts....I don't see what else they would give.

For all the posts about this, no one, literally none of the posts gave a semblance of what they would suggest or expect for comp....

What would you guys want? just curious....

I'd want my units back they could subtract if from my other runs n give us the difference back which would be quite a bit because the trap kept killing me. My before n after was a big difference. During it I never continued after the first run I did 1 waited till they fixed it because not having the visual was real bad for me. But I can't say that was same for everyone so some decent compo package might fair others better rather than lost units. I can't talk for others other than my own self but not to get nothing would be a piss take.

The thing was that this didn’t just affect the black widow in act 8, this span across multiple champions in multiple different nodes. For example, G99 digi cloak wouldn’t show which meant I had to pay more attention to the timer itself if I triggered it
