Battlegrounds 3 wins in a row to advance not intentional?

All the way up until platinum when I would lose a match with 2/3 wins I would be completely reset to 0/3. I thought that was just intentional. But now I’m platinum and beyond it doesn’t completely reset you if you lose a match. Has there been any word on why this is?

It always sent you one back, never reset.

If you win one, you get a token. If you lose one, you lose a token. It has been like that and should always be like that. If you got reset to 0/3 when you were 2/3 that was a bug

Man that’s dumb. I’ve been getting completely reset until I got up to platinum. Any mod mention if this is a common bug?

Might be visual bugs. They're everywhere in BGs.

At times, I'm fighting someone, they bail out and then it show the previous match name and fight status screen from round 3 (like the info of someone I matched and fought before this other olayer).

Other times, it shows me in a completely different rank, like I'll be gamma 2 but the emblem is showing arcane 1 in the upper left hand corner.

Sometimes I have to leave bgs and go back in for it to show the correct status again. The coin status has done similar wonky things like that and exiting out and going back into BGs usually clears up that visual issue too.

If it's not just visual, that stinks. However, i've never had a reset like that, that wasn't anything more than a visual glitch.

You'll get disagrees from people no matter what here. But, can't say this has been a topic on the forum so if it is happening, it's probably a very small amount of people, or it could have been more of a visual issue that persisted.

Ultimately, If you're experiencing this type of thing, especially if it's repeatable, screen record it and upload it so people can review it and try to help confirm what's happening (or not). Otherwise, people who don't experience it, or don't see many others saying they're experiencing it, are more likely to think it's a "you" issue (like not accepting it's a visual bug if you didn't exit out and go back in and sti saying it happened. No visual proof = skepticism).

Lots of visual bugs, that show wrong amount of tokens or wrong previous matches.

Haven't heard of someone being reset completely after a loss though. Post your match history when those happened, what do they look like? If you can go back that far.

Be useful to report with a ticket, not sure if anything would come from it though.

Already did yesterday. They’re gonna pull up my previous match history and see. I heard people In Brian grants stream mentioning the same issue

Can you actually see from within the History list at what # of medals within current bracket you are at after each match ? Or does it just show +1 or -1 (or neither) ?

But even if it does NOT show “-1” after a loss, that could either mean you were already at bottom of that bracket, or you had used a Safety Net token that match.

Also don’t think it shows achieving a new bracket after a Win either in that History list. So no way to really tell if 2 wins in a row had bumped you up a bracket, or whether those are 2 wins within the same bracket.

The bracket you see under the opponent I believe is actually your opponents bracket, but doesn’t seem to indicate what YOUR bracket or medal count within it was.

@Kabam Miike , that History part could use some work by Kabam for next series.
