At Gamma III should I keep fighting or wait for Season Rewards?

If I keep fighting I might lose games and fall out of Gamma. But if I stand pat I'll get 17,500 tokens which is a decent amount.

What would you do?

BTW I'm Thronebreaker, in a Plat 3 AW alliance.

If u don't keep fighting u'll still lose ranks since others who keep playing with move ahead with higher score while u'll end up somewhere in Uru

Play till 2nd last day so even if you lose rank , it wouldn't be that much . I am in Arcane 2 and wanna end up in quantum 2 atleast .

Gladiator circuit feels like the biggest waste of time. Unless you have a massive acct to counter all the other huge accts you wont make it much higher then that. An the season rewards are not worth the aggravation.

I've decided to give fighting on a go. I don't spend much (just occasional) and don't have a HUGE account. So I dropped from Gamma III back to ZERO points and Uru III via losing 3-4 fights in a row due to going up against HUGE accounts. I spent the next 1-2 hour to climbed back up to Gamma III.

I should have stopped there, but then I fought on but lost 3 fights in a row and dropped all the way back to Uru III again, and it took me another 1-2 hour to climb back up to Gamma III.

I'm not going to do another fight. It's a pain. You always lose 2-3 fights in a row and it takes too much effort to climb back up.

Kabam should come up with another way of playing BG without the fear of losing ground on Season rewards. There's too high a chance of going up against one of those HUGE accounts and just dropping back to zero points.

I would say some of the stronger accounts will climb a bit more by next week
play on lsat or second lst day and see if you can reach just a tier or two atleast and then just stop

Why last or 2nd last day? What happens on those days?

You could do what I do. Once you reach GC, just win three matches and then call it quits until the BG objectives appear again. I don't worry about climbing the ladder, but I can easily net 3 wins [with losses often wedged between] for a quick 1200 tokens every three days.

true but when it frustrates me this much and honestly, a game shouldn't be this frustrating...I think for me...I'm done...but I'm telling people to not play, just my personal view and my decision for my accts.

( roughly 130-150 points). once I get to the point where I'm about to break the Mysterium tier I see so many more options to deal with: Rintrah, torch, AA, korg, thing , wong, Omega Sentinel, and I don't have many counters or as much ranked up as I should.

True.. am getting matched with decks full off r4s and r3s 6* while i have 2 r3 6 stars and rest r5 5*s and r1 6*.. lolzz 😂

This is forgetting solo milestones too–what if you can push into the next bracket in those days? I know it's hard to gauge this season, but I'll kick myself if it costs me some rewards there too.

That's the whole point of BGs. Win to climb and lose to drop. Weaker players shouldn't get ranks they don't deserve to get.

You should have never gotten to the GC in the first place w/ that roster. Kabams awful matchmaking pushing people into the GC when they should be there is a huge problem.

But why is it a different system for 'getting to' GC though?

Going from Bronze to Silver, etc, you never fall out of Silver. So you can keep pushing without falling all the way down.

That's not the point.

The point is, I don't think Kabam intended for people to get to GC and just stop playing. When we stop playing we stop spending money on units, etc.

I've grinded for 3 weeks and now I'm sitting on my hands for 2 days now cos of this dillema.

Kabam needs to change this IMO.
