I want to know whoever designed this, what was the thought process behind this defender on this node? Completely remove the class advantage? Or making players angry or what?

I know ppl will say just "reg mags" her but point is tech class suppose to get advantage on this quest but against this defender on this node.. is complete nonsense .

PS: this is not the first time we have seen such defenders & node combinations in cavalier eq that doesn't even make sense at all.. but here we are🤦🏻🤦🏻.

I went with mags way but it's happen frequently that the nodes & defenders disect each other! Imagine it was a eop fight, the outrage would've been insane.. but anyways just wanted to share my thoughts..

No one is saying it's hard, it's that the nodes can't work because she's shock immune.

With hercules, everything is easy! & I don't have hercs! I didn't said it was hard or anything but this defender with that nodes doesn't make sense! Inagine if it was a eop fight & node

I used to dread such fights, but I’ve learned to just play around the unblockable by punishing the defender’s special before they can recover, which consumes most of the unblockable’s up time. And then back away until it is over.

I’m no super sweaty player or anything. Just bring a Neb counter and don’t worry about the class-based nodes for that fight.

I believe they do it on purpose so we don't throw in whatever champion benefits massively from the node and face roll the whole map.
As others have said, it's not that difficult. I think I did it with Warlock. Probably took longer. Can't remember even noticing.

•Now for the dead part" i quit myself due to the fight being too long & time waste with the champs I brought.
I restarted with red mags in team & did that.

And you're pulling that from what rule book?

Pulling it from the fact that there was an incident not that long ago when champs that couldn’t bleed and were out on the bleed map and work directly against the user. It was a mistake they admitted to and promised to work on it. Usually there is some unfavorable comps, but putting an immune champ on a node where you’re supposed to benefit from them being affected by what they are immune to is an over site. You don’t have to use the preferred champs for that map and can always use someone different, but it doesn’t mean a mistake wasn’t made there.

People telling you can beat nebula and no need to stick with the tech class node, but what the point if you can gain advantage by inflicting shock, but you can't because nebula is immune shock

Also i don't remember which previous eq, you need to bleed to gain advantage, but kabam throw colossus and CGR as champs you need to beat. I like what?

While I had no trouble with the Nebula fight, I understand where OP is coming from. There have been a few times now where there have been champs placed in the Cav event quest that go directly against the nodes, preventing players from utilizing the beneficial nodes. It’s not so bad in this situation with Nebula, but I believe we had something like this as well with a Bishop where he either had to be shocked or bled, can’t remember for sure.

It is strange that the event quest is designed to promote the use of these beneficial nodes, yet defenders are used that prevent the use of these nodes. While it may simply be a case of oversight, it would be nice to see it addressed so if it was intentional, then players can expect to see more interactions like this in the future.

Warlock(easy option), guardian(lot of damage), Ultron(hulkbuster synergy), cap iw (catch him in corner when he is in imperius rex mode and below one bar of power) work well. Did a solo with all of them.

Kabam previously had Ghost Rider and Colossus on a path that required inflicting Bleed to take advantage of the nodes. They admitted it was a mistake so there is reason to believe it could be a mistake here as well.

This isn't Story or EoP or some other endgame content. The nodes aren't supposed to be a trick. There probably shouldn't be a shock immune for these nodes regardless of how difficult the fight ends up being.
