You've never just said "thanks for being you and all you do" to someone? Miike does a lot and catches all the heat for things that he has no control over and he's constantly raked over the coals because the community thinks he owns the game.

This was an incendiary post to make.

You all need to remember that there’s a person at the other end of the keyboard. A person who, while they did accept the job, did not sign up for all of (four letter word) that he gets on a daily basis, a lot of which is quite nasty.

He doesn’t set the offers, rig the crystals, create the bugged content or cause ‘unfair’ matchups in AW. He’s the link between the players and the company and ultimately it’s not his fault if he’s the guy who’s got to deliver bad news or if the sentiments that I’m sure he passes up the chain are ignored.

The phrase ‘don’t shoot the messenger’ springs to mind. We see all of this stuff about paying attention to mental health in the news daily but very few of us stop and think about what dealing with probably 100s of negative comments a day does to someone. This isn’t a regular customer services job where you get a few moaners a day.

Hatred is common to anyone. It just depends on one's perception, and no one is in a good mood always to be smiling. I do appreciate for what he has done in the past and what he is still doing

We’re a very demanding community and it can’t be an easy job. We don’t always like what he has to say, but that’s mostly because he’s communicating back company decisions, and we don’t like the decision. I think the term is shadow banned, where you can post on the forums but nothing is seen. Happened to me and messaged Kabam Miike on twitter. He got sorted straight away 🍺

Good post.

He seems like a good guy. Also most other games just do stuff on Reddit or Twitter. Can't be easy managing a group of passionate players, gamers are a tough bunch to please.

Milke has taught me how to be patient in extreme circumstances . He does what he can do and what is under his control . He doesn't owns the game . He is an awesome community manager and my all time fav. mod . He has been handling difficult situations quite well , while sometimes he does pisses us off with his unusual replies but none the less he is still amazing.
