Five-star nexus advice for new account

I was very excited to roll this from a basic grandmaster crystal until I saw the options. New account without any great 5 stars. Is sentinel the best option since at least he has immunities ?

    Pretty easy vote if u lack techs then only go for sentinel but red guardian way better
