Question about modding?

If someone mods during battlegrounds, they still get all the milestone rewards for moving up brackets, and the solo/alliance objectives. They also get to keep their accounts and their alliance goes unpunished.

Why is it I feel the non cheaters are actually punished more?

I've heard people say this but where does it suggest that modders don't get banned and their accounts are not taken away? i would assume if kabam found a cheater their account would be suspended.

It's a really complicated process to try and reclaim rewards/consumables that have already been spent. Also probably a legal grey area as well. If someone and earned 10,000 6 Star shards and spent them prior to being caught but then has another 10,000 legitimately earned 6 Star shards in their account, is it legal recourse to take them. I'm not sure in all honesty. It's much easier to just ban people for violating ToS. This is why there is a focus on not handing out these ranked rewards until all of the cleanup has been done. I think there will be improvement on how cheating is being addressed but who knows if it will be effective enough.

The ban penalties need to be severe. 30 day ban at a minimum if you aren't perma-banning accounts or taking away all rewards earned via modding.

I'm 100% certain I reported a modder and he's still there....he was a smug **** too so I'm actually praying they do the right thing and kick him

30 days is a slap in the wrist!! I reported modders and thankfully they got 30 day ban (i kept track), but now dudes r back in the game and i got screwed without any sort of compensation
