Battleground Defender and Attacker Selection acreen issue

I got matched in battlegrounds, was able to ban the 3 opponents deck. Proceeded to select defendera and attackers and I couldnt see who the oppoent selected. This happened on both rounds.

This happened again. I closed the game and restarted a new battleground match and same results. I could not see on the screen who the defender selected. This time i was smart enough to track who they selected from their team. But what is happening.

Happening again today. When i tried to select a defender it froze and selected another champ for who i was trying to place. Game is a hot mess.
