EoP Scorpion evade

How on earth on do I stop this evade/work around it? It's says a 20% chance to evade but he evades every single time. I've read the abilities of it but don't follow the language kabam have used in there 🤦‍♂️

Get a combo of 20 before the timer on your side ends

Is that it? I read that paragraph and it reads (to me lol) that I need to match my current combo + another 20.

There's gotta be more to it than just 20 combo, he's still triggering the scorpion sense and I'm 100% sure I'm exceeding 20 combo everytime

I mean like every time the timer rested you need 20 hits more

Yeah I sussed it in the end 😂. Wonder why they even bother to say about existing combo (camt remember how it was worded exactly)
