Champions recovering too quick from special attacks

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but you were able to punish Wiccan's sp1 and storm's sp2 (yes, new) quite easily? It seems they can recover and get you with a light attack now. Can anyone else check and give more inputs?

For a opposite example, Surfer recovers slower than most others after getting back up from a special. Can catch one off guard

Champions being able to use sp even before heavy animation is completed..this is the biggest culprit..

I keep encountering the issue where I use a special on the enemy and before I can regain control of my champ to block or dodge back they are already attacking me.

Yes!!! This has been happening for a few months. Champs with quick recovery like OG storm and Guillotine 2099 are now up faster and on the attack immediately after your special is done.

This "feature" had been around for at least a year if not longer.

If you knock a defender down with a heavy or special, if you are in high level content they are up and in your face before you are given back your own controls to dash away. Basically, somehow the animations of the heavy or special you knock them down with is so delayed that they can recover you before you can get back control of your champ.

It defies common sense but it is what it is and this is why ppl have learnt light intercepting, etc.
