As always every year we wait for this time of year for the gift event to hear this year won’t have it sucks. Return the tradition. Please.

The replacement is fine. I mean honestly it what everyone was doing already. All this does is cut down on finding a trading partner.

Oh and cuts down on people getting scammed.

I ran alliance "tournaments" where every1 had to do a job, and winner got to receive some GGC's on this event...this wont be possible anymore, but other than that, this change has a lot of positive stuff... no more bots farming units, no more scamming... a lot of dark stuff just vanish with this change

I wish I hadn’t wasted 8 extra months playing two Thronebreaker alt accounts instead of focusing on my main.

And now they won’t even fix Gauntlet. What am I gonna do with consumables if I’ve already 100%ed act 7 and 8.1? Run 216 paths of act 6 to get an awakening gem that I get from loyalty every 6 weeks anyway?

Yes, consumables will still be able to be traded and any greater gifting crystals you buy will be exclusively for yourself so the main thing that's getting removed is people having to find someone reliable or trustworthy to trade with.

Don’t understand all this darkness you all speak of y’all should maybe be making honest alliances gifted in mine for years never a problem. If you play along side honest people like myself. There wasn’t any issues for us. It’s the season to be jolly. Not greedy.and a time to share not hoard. They don’t stop mercs completing content for others and been paid so why they taking the fun out of the alliance Christmas stuff.I always looked forward to this event in December. Seems to be the only time of year I get any luck on it lol.

So you're just pretending there's no such thing as credit card fraud? Or theft? Or a black market to undermine the economy of the game as well as the legitimate financial implications for both the company, and it's consumers?

I understand you want to be all Holly Jolly Christmas and give the gift that keeps on giving, I would love to do that too but it doesn't change the reality that people are manipulating behind the scenes stuff and they are putting other legitimate Accounts at risk because of foolish decisions. So the whole point of all this is to take away the bad so you can just enjoy the good.

I don’t see how you can have a gift event when you can’t gift it seems. Not seen any info on the event as of yet still waiting I saved my units for a full year for this event to try help my alliance out. Sucks legitimate people suffer cause of a few

Any let’s be real if people want to go out there way to commit fraud they’re gonna do it anyways at any opportunity so why not just punish them ? Rather than everyone when it’s the time of year to give ?

Those people are punished but it's still a huge hassle for everyone involved, making use of a stolen credit card will be way harder now and easier to trace back to a single user. Whereas before a single fraudster migh sell to let's say 50 people.

If the original owners of the credit cards end up asking for their money back it'll most likely come with extra charges Kabam has to end up paying for.

This also (hopefully) discourages a lot of ArenaBotters, seeing as the units generated there were mostly used to Gift crystals in exchange for real world money.

It's maybe sad it has to come to this but I think it's the best for the game and it's players
