Relic locked on binded champion even once released from quest

Had nimrod on war defence, ive reached the final boss node so he should be released, ive tried taking him into a quest and leaving but the i cant unbind the relic or rank it up as "he is still in a active quest"

Anyone else?

Only able to bind after AW was over, not when we were finished.

Yup.
Didnt care much tho... Couldnt configure relic even after releasing champs from AQ/AW.
