It says 18:00 UTC. So in about 5 hours.

Because calendar time isn’t until 7pm EST, or 24:00 UTC. The calendar is technically live, it just won’t populate until calendar time arrives.

Hm ok. It's 18:00 UTC for me on December 10th. That's why I expected it to go live but guess we'll have to wait a little longer then.

It does say that and it is technically correct, but all calendars always go at the same time. It’s live in the game, we just can’t see it yet because the first reward is not yet claimable.
