nothing of the concrete variety, all the announcement mentioned was longer plasma and incinerate duration, easier access to stun off special 2, and “more”, whatever that ends up entailing.

If u didn't like IMIW as an attacker before the buff, u won't be liking him after as well
He's only easier to manage but damage is the same as before....in fact the damage is now lower than what it was if we factor in his playstyle bcoz his plasmas are supposed to be permanent in an optimal IMIW fight, & those plasmas now have lesser damage per tick

Those who are in the beta have access to the buff details. However, due to the rules of the beta, I can not share those with you since nothing in the beta is concrete of what will be happening in the game and don't want to give you false expectations.

What I can tell you though is with the buff as is, he doesn't need synergies anymore and is much better in shorter fights.

KT1 did a test run with him both with and without synergies and pre and post buff and his consensus is kind of the same that we're seeing here where where the damage definitely lasts longer but we might be trading in a touch of potency for duration OR it could be a bug and the potency isn't working correctly... Not sure yet.

If you play him well to keep DoT going, he does less damage. Here we go again....

I'm hoping that this beta gives Kabam the opportunity to increase his plasma damage numbers. On a side note I also think his chance to proc armor ups and duration of armor ups should be increased offensively. His immunities and autoblock are impractical

Increasing the duration and the potency would have fixed a lot of the main issue but I am liking the fact that your basic attacks are able to refresh the incinerate in shocks so you can still have more opportunity to create plasma so I'm hoping that we're not seeing the final product yet and there's still time for a numbers bump.

There's a lot that can be said about his immunities (personally I don't hate them but I would have also added something for shock resistance or immunity) so this was never supposed to be a rework, it was just supposed to be a numbers bump, so unless they decided to make an update, it was never going to change.
