How many 7* shards for a 7* crystal?

I think till there is no other way of obtaining them than 6* dupes it should be 10K and after that it may increase to 15K or 20K as I don't want them becoming the next 6* and being opened as so often.

This seems incredibly unlikely IMO, I’d imagine it would start at 10k (since it has the same amount of shards awarded for both 5*s and 6*s) but I can’t imagine they’d increase it and get all the backlash from the community

If it fits in line with all other crystals it should be 10k. Every dupe at every level awards 2.75% of the next crystal, whether it’s 55 shards on a 2-3* dupe or 275 shards for a 4-6* dupe. It should take a long time before we are able to open them at the current rate of 6*. Think of the time before Cav EQ. You could get 2,500 shards a month through UC and then drips and drabs outside of story content. At best players not in top war we’re forming a 6* crystal maybe once a month, but perhaps not even that often. I think they will ramp 7* up faster, but I would be willing to bet that for at least a little while 6* dupes will probably be the most significant way to obtain 7* shards.

Yeah, I think it should be 25k, a lot of people has a lot of 6* so they will have up to a lot of 7* so I think maybe 20k to 30k would be the right amount

They can’t base the cost of new crystals on where lower level accounts are in the game. I understand why you guys would think that’s it unfair to face 7* because you haven’t caught up yet, but how is it fair to say they should be more expensive just because of your interpretation of fairness? 7* are going to be tailored so that everyone has a fair progression-based opportunity to get them, even if that means some players can buy them.
Another thing to keep in mind is that 7* champions at R1 will probably be similar to 6* at R3 or R4, just like 5* were to 4* and 6* were to 5*, and we’re going to be quite a ways away from seeing a 7* R2, which will probably be in line with the far more imminent R5 6*.

I think it'll be 10K cuz the amount of shards we get from duping a 6* is 275 7* shards, just like the amount of 6 and 5 star shards we get from duping lower said star champs
And we know the amount of shards depends on how much you need to form a crystal, for example for the 3, 4 star crystals you get only 55 shards per dupe cuz only 2000 shards are required for a crystal.
Besides, they've done it for 5 star, 6 star, and it's fine... why change it?

I didnt say its unfair neither its because of the low level accounts, Its not about what you want to or not face, the problem is that people is ALREADY getting shards without the 7* being in game, so people will be able to open maybe even 20 or 30 7* crystal when they get added, what will firstly reduce the rarity of those and secondly give less value to the 6* crystal which are not even R5 yet, so why will people R5 6* when they just can get 7* Rank 2 and get more stats, being the only problem the fact that they are unduped.

If Kabam didnt let people get 7* shards before they add them, this wouldnt be that much of a problem cause 7* would still be rare.

And I say this having 7* shards too, but I dont think it will be funny to just forget about the 6* when people doesnt have them R5 or even R4-R3 just because you get it as a 7*, because there a lot of champions that dont need awakening to be good so I think they should at least put 20k shards for the 7*, so they remain as rare as the 6* when they got added
