Is there a difference between week-end and Mon-Fri in Kabam support's response?i

Asking because I opened a ticket today (Sunday) and the support's response is all but fair and pro-player. Usually the support is quite good (at least I've always had good experiences) but today it was very "we've taken your matter seriously but we cannot refund your item. If there is a compensation it will be in-game".
I'm not asking for a compensation, just asking for a victory shield (or 90 units) to be refunded following a bug that cost me a BG game.
I found there response very weird and "insensitive".
What do you think?
